The science

Wild Hibiscus Flower Extract is an Australian plant, unique for its rich betaine content. Betaine is a naturally modified amino acid and organic osmolyte that accumulates in plants under drought stress. Osmolytes are small organic molecules that help cells maintain proper function under stress. When applied to the skin, osmolytes work to regulate water balance, protect against environmental stressors, and improve skin hydration and elasticity.
